RIVER HAVEN CHALET

Perched on a hillside by the Shenandoah River, our log home offers comfort, beauty and serenity. River Haven Chalet in Luray, Virginia is a retreat for all seasons. You will find all of the comforts of home and none of the stress. River Haven Chalet is a fully furnished cabin which boasts a fantastic view of the Shenandoah River. 

The cabin's decor was planned to ensure a relaxing getaway.  You'll love the "electic mix " of the sofa, comfortable chair, and other furnishings.

• A stereo and TV/VCR are also in the living room.
• The loft has 2 twin size beds
• Two lower level bedrooms has a full size bed
• Sleeps 6, very comfortably
• Two bathrooms
• Please bring your own sheets and towels, or ask in advance about sheets being provided for you.

Want to enjoy your day by the river?  Awaiting you are a picnic table and charming tire swing on the bank of the Shenandoah, just feet from the chalet. The riverfront offers fishing, tubing, canoeing. Just ask us about using the red canoe when you reserve the cabin.

The large yard has room for frisbee, football, volleyball and croquet. Don't forget roasting marshmallows in the riverside fire pit, firewood is provided. The patio overlooking the river features outdoor furniture and there is porch swing is under the front balcony. Whether you you want to laze in the shade or bask in the sun, the choice is yours!

We also have a secluded rustic mountain cabin. If you are interested, please inquire with the manager about it.
